Permanently delete your OMR Grader account and all associated personal data from our servers

Before You Delete

We're sorry to see you go. Before proceeding, please be aware of the following:

⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to your premium subscription (if active), all synced data, and your scan history. You will need to create a new account if you want to use OMR Grader again in the future.

What Happens to Your Data

Here's exactly what happens when you delete your OMR Grader account:

📱 Local device data (images, results, templates, answer keys) is stored only on your phone and is never uploaded to our servers. This data is automatically removed when you uninstall the app or clear app data from Android Settings.

Option 1: Delete from Inside the App (Recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the OMR Grader app:

  1. Open OMR Grader Launch the app on your Android device.
  2. Go to Profile Tap the profile icon (👤) in the top-right corner of the home screen.
  3. Scroll to "Delete Account" Scroll to the bottom of the Profile screen and tap "Delete Account".
  4. Confirm Deletion Read the warning, then confirm by tapping "Yes, Delete My Account". Your account and all server-side personal data will be deleted immediately.

✅ After deletion, you will be logged out automatically. Your account is permanently removed.

Option 2: Request Deletion via This Page

If you cannot access the app (e.g., you've uninstalled it or lost your device), you can request account deletion by submitting the form below. We will verify your identity and process the request within 3 business days.

Fill in the email address associated with your OMR Grader account. We'll send a verification email before processing the deletion.

Important: Active Subscriptions

Deleting your OMR Grader account does not automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. To avoid being charged after account deletion:

  1. Open Google Play Store On your Android device, open the Play Store app.
  2. Go to Subscriptions Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions.
  3. Cancel OMR Grader Find "OMR Grader" (or "OMR Premium") and tap Cancel subscription. Follow the prompts to confirm.

💡 Google processes subscription refunds based on their own refund policy. We recommend canceling your subscription before deleting your account.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I recover my account after deletion?

No. Account deletion is permanent. Once processed, your email is anonymized and all personal data is removed from our servers. You would need to create a brand new account.

What about my exam results and scanned images?

All exam results, scanned images, answer keys, and sheet templates are stored locally on your device — they never leave your phone. Deleting your account does not affect local data. To remove local data, uninstall the app or go to Android Settings → Apps → OMR Grader → Clear Data.

How long does the web deletion request take?

Web deletion requests are processed within 3 business days. You will receive a verification email first to confirm your identity. In-app deletion is instant.

Will I get a refund for my premium subscription?

Account deletion does not trigger an automatic refund. Please cancel your subscription through Google Play and contact Google Play Support for refund requests based on their policies.

I forgot which email I used. What should I do?

If you still have the app installed, open OMR Grader → Profile to see your registered email. If you've uninstalled the app and don't remember, email us at support@omrgrader.com and we'll help you locate your account.
